Network Rail is carrying out major improvement works between Mossley and Deighton and on Huddersfield station every day from Saturday 30th August until Sunday 28th September as part of the TransPennine Route Upgrade.
Train services will be diverted and running to an amended timetable and some parts of your journey might involve bus replacement services, meaning journey time may be extended. Trains will not be stopping at Huddersfield station. Further details on the changes to services can be found below.
Services to/from the Tees Valley Mondays to Saturdays ONLY: This service will start and terminate at Manchester Victoria instead of Manchester Airport. It will be diverted, not calling at Huddersfield but stopping additionally at Brighouse, Hebden Bridge and Sowerby Bridge.
Change at Brighouse for travel to and from Huddersfield. Bus replacement services will be in operation for travel between Brighouse – Huddersfield and between Manchester Airport – Brighouse via Huddersfield (see details below, “Bus services”).
Sundays ONLY: This service will be diverted, not calling at Huddersfield but calling additionally at Brighouse. Change at Brighouse for travel to and from Huddersfield.
Bus replacement services will be in operation for travel between Brighouse - Huddersfield
